Stovetop: Add mince to a hot pan and cook over medium-high heat for 5–8 minutes, breaking it up as it browns. Season and combine with sauce or spices as desired. Ensure mince is cooked through before serving.

I’ve shopped at the Glenrose Shop for approx 4 years and occasionally buy from Forest Way. I’ve spent thousands in this time, typically $400-500 per shop once a month. I buy bulk, 4-5 kgs of scotch fillet, 3-4kg of Chuck, 3 kg mince, lamb shoulders, 3-4kg of sausages, chicken and sometimes 5 racks of pork ribs. Meat quality is good, the actual level of butchery is average and I’ve never been offered a discount or even given 1 free bbq sauce. Not that I expect it, however when you see someone come in and buy two steaks and get a discount it stings. Never said anything until now, but not a place that seems to value loyal customers. I’ve even been charged for a bag after spending $500. It’s now made me think twice about where else I can spend my money. Just looked at pricing at Meat Emporium and VICS and seems I can get cheaper grass fed meats. Bit disappointed.
